Here's a recording made in saint-urbain (charlevoix) pq, canada in the forest a morning of august 2014. You can hear grasshoppers, crickets, wasps and a creek in the background. This recording was made with a sound devices usbpre2 into a tascam dr-680 (spdif) and 2 microphones studio project c1 in ortf stereo pattern. It's in 24 bits 96khz , 40hz low cut.

Moderately flowing stream - jack creek in central oregon's cascade mountains flows out of the ground at the base of three fingered jack mountain. The water comes from a glacier on the mountain a couple of miles from where multiple springs create the large creek bubbling up from the dry ground. This recording was done several hundred feet downstream where the creek was already about 50 wide and only about a foot deep. This is the sound of a small waterfall i have that falls onto some rock steps and into a coy pond. You can hear the water plashing on the rocks and bubbling up through the filters. Recorded deep in the shawnee national forest after a lot of rain which filled the many little creeks. Rode ntg-2 and the zoom h4n recorder.

This is a larger stream in the shawnee national forest. At this particular point on the stream had a large log over which the water was flowing gently. . . . Not as much gurgling and popping sounds, just a nice smooth, flowing sound.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.

I stopped along a bike ride in order to record the sound of monument creek. In this recording, the phone mic was a few inches above the water, and i was about twenty feet from a set of mild rapids.

A recording made near monument creek. I needed to block wind noise and so there are strange fluctuations with the eq, although maybe this is a feature and not a bug for someone out there. I walked away from the rapids until i was about twenty feet away. At one point, a helicopter passed over, and you may hear a motorcycle ride by.

A beautiful, ancient sound of a small creek flowing in a heavy midwestern forestafter a late autumn day of rain. (recorded on sunday november 30th, 2019)this particular " scene " is the result of a 2 inch deep flow of water suddenly dropping over several medium-sized old rocks. In a few days, this flow will cease and the creek-bed will revert back to its typical, meandering , dry rocky path through the woods. Enjoy. Equipment: sony pcmd100 placed on the creek-bed about 5 inches from this min-waterfall.

A recording of the creek mühlgraben in the bavarian forest on a trail from the village rettenbach to the peak schopf. Occasional birdsong can be heard, as well as the rustling or falling of leaves in the wind. The recording was taken at an idyllic spot where the small creek flows over pebbles and around rocks. The recording was made on 18th october 2022 at 11:52 am with my huawei p10 lite, no additional processing was applied.
