Do the harlem shake? why not the paint can shake?. Needed to replicate someone shaking a jerry can to check if there is fuel inside. Because someone didn't think to add water or something in it while they were on set filming the bloody thing. So the closest thing i could find to recreate the sound was an old paint can down stairs.

Tambourine has a wooden ring, plastic film striking surface, and four pairs of metal disk jinglers. A fast, very intense shake.

Here is a recording i made of a mobile phone vibrating in a metal tin. I needed this for a project i'm working on and thought i'd share it. Sennheiser mkh 416 - sound devices 442 - tascam dr680 - fabfilter mb (for slight noise reduction).

This is the sound of someone shaking a kinder surprise egg trying to guess what's inside (like in the tv advert). This is a simple sound that i recorded with a zoom h2n handy recorder. I just cut the extra recording parts, and added a noise reduction effect to clean it in audacity.

This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.

This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. It is a sound that feels thunderous, at the beginning it is very strong but at the end it is perceived as it loses its power and turns off. Had to be activated by someone when turning on the mini blender.
