It's a recording of sounds of an old store refridgerator. The recorder (zoom h2) was put into the fridge and door closed. You can here the varying tempo of the compressor working, it's a characteristic cound that leaves a mark in your mind (especially if you listen to it for a long time). Recorded with zoomh2 rear mics from inside of the fridge. Converted to flac using audacity.
The latch door from an old coin-operated washing machine being closed. Series of instances. Recorded at close proximity in stereo, 44. 1khz, 24bit on a tascam dr-01 portable recorder.
Group kmm-this recording has a lot of low frequencies because of the wind. You can also hear keys jangling in the background. At the end of the clip, there is a door that is being closed. Recorded with a zoom h4 handheld recorder, high quality.
Some of the best interior door foley i've ever recorded. Very clear, close-up sound of a wooden door smoothly swooshing open, then clunking shut 3 times. Recorded on zoom h4n.
This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up. So i put my recorder in the drawer and leaned. This is the result: four squeaks of unparalleled irritation. I hope you can find a use for this in your projects.
Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.
Two sets of 4 clear, wooden door knocks, first faster than the second. Happy to give back to the community after so many years of downloads with the few good foleys i've done.
Squeaky wooden door opened in a hall of highschool. 1999. Casette dictaphone, built in mics, digitalized with generic amiga mono sampler at 16khz. Saved as wav.
Garage door closing, electric motor, single garage. Edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).
Opening and closing a scion tc 2015 model. Recording using internal xy mic from zoom h5 a couple of inches from the door handle. Cleaned the background noise with izotope rx4.
