A small bass drum sound i whipped up in about ten or fifteen minutes; this one with a techno/hardcore vibe. Made in audacity using tone generators and various effects.
A kick drum did to my psytrance project called sonicmancer. I use u-he bazzile, filter resonate envelope in a sine wave. Hope u enjoy. Send me the track u did using this. . . I wanna listen =).
Bassdrum hit with mallet, recorded 24bit stereo on a sony-pcmd50. One mic was on-axis and the other was off. The samples are in stereo only as to allow for more control in tone and editing.

Some random notes. Recorded into cubase using a 4-string squier jazz bass and a behringer ultragain digital ada8200 converter. Cut in ocenaudio. I don't remember making this, but i'm pretty sure all i did was run some white noise through bassboost a couple times. It works for earthquakes, distant tiger roars, and other subsonic sounds.
Processed kick with good transientmade with ableton and been tested with monitors, its been eq'd and a compressed. This sound it at -0. 1db instead of 0. 0 so it's definitely not clipping. The sub of the kick is made in ni massive and then processed with all most every plugin i have. I took surprisingly long to make because it was originally meant to be secret for one of my own tracks but i never really used it so it has a lot of hidden detail that is just waiting to be downloaded lol.
