An assembled loop made out of samples, some of them being from free vsts like adern kickme and dream drums and are further processed using free effect plugins. Other are from free sample packs and are also gently processed to death and beyond.

Dubstep beat programmed with caustic 3 and mixed with ableton. 4 bars at 150 bpm big kick with snappy snare. Reverse snare and reverse spacey crash for extra effect. Busy hi hat pattern. Some gentle eq and mix compression and reverb and slight delay on hats and reverse effects. Ready to go.

I was amused of the looks of these guys and how they wondered "what the hell is that grey furry in his hand?" but no-one was hero enough to ask me ;)well, the recording is a great one! but i guess i will never be that near to a marching parade again. Hopefully somehow useful for some of you!.

Recorded 17. Nth of june 2007 at oscarsborg fortress in norway. Memorial of oberst birger eriksen who was in charge of the resistance at oscarsborg against the german invasion 9. Nth april 1939. Recorded with canon hv10 camcorder. No soundeffects added. Nice echo in the open fortress yard. First some speech, then single drummer and single trumpet.

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.
