Something of an 'outtake' whilst trying to record a bird chirping. Not only was the resulting recording very poor, as you may hear, but the bird in question shit on my car! happens about 25s in. Recorded 05/09/18.
Phone-ringing from a distance, a baby crying somewhere, teenagers laughing, birds chirping, old chinese music playing from a radio, seniors playing chinese chess.
A busy, natural sound-scape of the midwest forest in early summer. Many of the birds you hear in this recording spend the winter 100s, perhaps thousands of miles to the south. Equipment: sound devices 702. Microphone: audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone. Enjoy.
I went out back to record the robin and also noticed a smaller pileated woodpecker right over on the wood pile. Listen hard and you'll hear it peck the wood. That's the first sound you hear along with the robin and my neighbors kids. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony vegas with two track duplications. Please comment on what you might use it for. Thanks. :-).

Just a clip of ambient sounds in my neighborhood. You can hear a few different kinds of birds making noise, dog barks, a circular or table saw being used, and general "ambient" tone.
I don't know what kind this was, but several red-headed woodpeckers appear at my feeder. I got just one series without background traffic noise. If you want to repeat it for effect, each series came 46 seconds apart. Probably how long it took him to eat the bugs he turned up.
Field recording on a tascam dr-05 of cockatoos screeching. A train goes past about half way and a dog bark towards the end. Some rumbling thunder can also be heard.
Rain with bird and distant noise. Rainwater is falling on the leaves of a tree with birds. Distant noise from truck and car. Chuva com passaro e ruído distante. A água da chuva está caindo nas folhas de uma árvore com passarinhos. Ruído distante de caminhão e carro.
Field recording in the senhora da guia's yard in urgueira, a small village with 12 inhabitants, belonging to the municipality of águeda near the serra do caramulo in portugal.
A rainy day. Recorded from my bedroom's window. Ocasionally, you can hear the faded sounds of cars passing by. By the end of the recording, you can also listen to birds chirping.
