I recorded this sound at the nagarhole tiger reserve in karnataka, india. The sound is recorded on my iphone 12 pro using the dolby on app. There are unfortunately some minor unwanted sounds in the recording caused by things like someone moving in their seat. But it’s a nice ambient recording to use if you are able to edit around it. The recording was done at 7:30am.

This is a crow picked up by dreamtalk recorder, a brilliant app for iphone/ipad/android. It was early hours in the morning and it was outside my window. I have had to amplify the file quite a lot to make it easier to hear. I thought it sounded fed up in its tone, i've not heard one exactly like this before.

Recording made at 11:30 at night on the edge of a pond near a deep forest. . . . Of course the spring peepers are chorusing, but then, from farther away, but definately still audible, some coyotes start calling out. Wonderful night-ambience. Enjoy.

High above our heads and the less pleasant layers of car traffic, budgies tweet and chirp and chitter. Nestling in the crowns of pine trees in various parks across the eu capital, they add a subtropical flavor to brussels' diverse soundscape. Just as most of the city's inhabitants, the ring-necked, alexandrine and quaker parrots came from a different place. Having escaped a zoo exhibit many years ago, they've been eking out a living, adapting to the tempered climate and found themselves a new home. The Alder Flycatcher is a small birg that lives in thickets. Very much like the Willow Flycatcher.

The first sunday of may is the international dawn chorus day! on the 3rd of may 2020, artists and field recordists in different parts of the world recorded the birdsong around the time of the local sunrise, and then the sounds were put together in a synchronous collage. The sounds you hear in the recording at the same time happened at the same time, but not necessarily in the same place: for example, you can hear owls calling in the spanish night at almost the same time as kookaburras in the australian day. These guineafowl woke me up at 6am so i had nothing better to do than record them. A little cleanup and noise removal.

Five glorious minutes of the sound of ducks! recorded on the woodland lakes holiday park near thirsk in yorkshire. Over 100 mallard ducks descend onto a small man-made lake in the midst of the holiday cabins and then proceed to quack loudly and splash about in the water.
