Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings. The orcs of the tower of cirith ungol call them shriekers. I download from this site often, so i thought i would return the favor :). Feel free to contact me with any other requests!. A dark and dissonant hit on the very low piano keys. With a bit of eq to increase the low rumble and a lot of reverb. Not a real piano but a vst instrument. Suitable for e. G. Horror films and games. The versions (a) and (b) of each sound in this pack are the same notes but on different pianos with sligthly different settings. Post-processing: eq & reverb.

There's two male ghosts, one of them more loud and more low pitched than second. They sing along some song without words and screams, they're just wail and howl. Ideally can be placed in any place related somehow to ghosts(abandoned home, castle, graveyard) in some suspense moments or as constant sound on background(though, i should notice, that the sound isn't seamless). I recorded it with my own voice, audacity's delay effect on every of two tracks(every track has one voice - logically).

A second capture of pure thunder in a single, loud crack with a rumble after.

Pure recording of a loud clap of thunder and the subsequent rumble. The initial crack is so loud and close that the recording volume is very low and catches almost no background sounds.

I recorded this gate in ashton court, bristol. I recorded it for a surround sound eco-soundscape composition however i felt the need to share as it was probably one of the best sounds i captured. The long hollow poles the gate is attached to creates a spooky reverb that sounds like its coming from the ground itself. Please feel free to use this wherever you need.
