This is a recording of a church bell ringing before the evening service. Bell is playing a slightly flat b3 (around 240hz) with nice harmonics (very loud at d4). I was recording it on my laptop from the yard behind the church using two shure ksm32 large condenser mics and a rme fireface uc. Hpf at 60hz, no postprocessing.
A higher pitch of my original thirteen-chime clock. This sound would be suitable for smaller clocks such as mantel clocks and so on. It is ideal for haunted houses and other horror works. Created in musescore using default soundfont (tubular bells) which is gnu gpl licensed.
I was editing a ringtone of the tardis landing from dr. Who when i accidently made this with that bell toll thing. Makes for an interesting alarm sound. No need to credit but would love to see what it was used in/for :). Edited in audacity using the noise reduction setting.
Recorded at the occupy toronto basecamp in st james's park, toronto, right next to the anglican cathedral of st james, 11 nov 2011. At the start of the recording, you can hear the cathedral bells chime. Most of the recording is of the ambient sounds of a walk-through of the park surrounded by the occupy protesters. Roland r05 sound recorder with sennheiser mke400 stereo microphone.
Six or so ticks, then a single ding! as the timer goes off. Timer removed from an infra chef halogen oven during repair. Recorded with "voice notes" on an iphone and edited with "amadeus pro" on a mac, but don't hate it for that.
A spring afternoon in a suburban uk town. Near a busy road, many sounds are heard including a chiffchaff, traffic, a collared dove (and other birds), church bells, a pedestrian crossing and an idling diesel car.
Recording of some church bells going off. I didn't catch the beginning, unfortunately, but it might help at some flavor to a track or sound environment! recorded on an iphone.
