The raw version of this sample was made by hitting my knuckle on a metal sculpture of an aircraft. De-clipped and de-noised just slightly using izotope rx. Verb, eq and comp in logic pro 8 + plugins. Recorded using the spectrumview iphone app. Sample rate = 48ksample size = 24 bit.
This sound was recorded in cologne cathedral, december 7 2010(peterglocke,pretiosa,speciosa, ursula,aveglocke and kapitelsglocke). Videotaped and edited to make it sound(record it the video myself with a blackberry phone!).

Bell noise made by placing a salt/pepper shaker's metallic lid on a piece of paper and pushing it into backwash guard on my granite counter top. Recorded with tascam dr-07 mkii handheld device at 16-bit 44. 1khz.
