This recording was made at a canal when it was reasonably dry. The canal has a road running parallel to it and above it. The side of that road has a largish (30cm?) pipe that drains water into the canal. I made this recording by holding my zoom h5 portable recorder in this pipe, and recording with the inbuilt stereo pair of microphones. You can hear the traffic passing above with the zoom of the occasional fast truck, but it's muted and it's echoing around the pipe. There's a hollow rumble running through the whole track. I made the recording in august (spring) of 2021 in brunswick west, australia.

Chevrolet caprice from a few meters away, then changed levels, went closer. Engine accellerates, then accellerates again and drives away. Recorded for a teaser of a music video for a simple overlay. A satisfying slow-drip of water droplets. Recorded in an old shower with an h1 zoom. There's a click near the beginning, and a section near the middle where the droplets speed up, so if you want to use it for ambiance a little editing may be required.

This was recorded on a poor on laptop microphone, and was supposed to be an applause track, but the microphone quality and the fact that we layered ten clapping noises all over each other combined to make this.

Drum kit in ableton with corpus effect. Bass heavy tom sounds great for techno track.

A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. Feel free to use it in a project as long as you give 'olaf gillot' credit. And of course 'freesound. Org' for having such an awesome website, with free hosting stuff :d!.

The sound was made from a fabric poster being quickly pulled out of a cardboard tube. Recorded on sony pcm-a10.

A plastic water pipe in the forest with a hole on top, sending a 2 meter high jet of water into the air. The water came pouring back down onto the plastic pipe. Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. Please use this sound for whatever you want, completely free, no restrictions.
