Recorder: moto g4 play (harpia), laying flat and facing down on the case. Microphone: built-in microphone. Encoding: wave (lossless, 32-bit float pcm). Processing: no dsp applied, removed a full piece of sound at the beginning and a full piece of sound at the end, including environmental noises that weren't related with this recording.

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Enjoy this sound effect.

Samples of the legendary boss dr-55. These are one-shot samples of the entire boss dr-55 drum machine. This is a vintage analog drum machine, and every recording of the circuit's output is unique. I picked up a home-grade reel to reel machine at a thrift store and and this is the tape which was in it. A father sends messages from home to his son in the u. S. Navy during the vietnam war, including fatherly advice about cars and shopping overseas and anxiously awaiting his sons return. He provides sample fodder at 14:19 about musical gear lust and otherwise provides an insight to the times. As no parties in this recording are explicitly identified, and while i did not record this, i am the de facto owner of the recording at this point and think it best to preserve it by posting it here as cc0. 180hz notchfilter(60x3)otherwise untouched.

Alarm bell from a bank robbery. Taken from the 1956 film "no road back" starring paul carpenter and margaret rawling and directed by montgomery tully. From my understanding and research of copyright law, this film was never copyrighted, as it came out before july 1957, which is when the british first started to have copyrights for film and broadcast. Any films or broadcasts that came out before july 1957 in the uk are not copyrighted. If it turns out that for some reason i am wrong, i am happy to take this recording down, but i've looked into it pretty extensively and i'm pretty sure i'm in the clear here.
