In my bathroom, a new melodie came up to my mind. Hear it fesh recorded. Imagin the melodie infront of an live audiance.

I moved everything out of my bathroom for cleaning and noticed the acoustics sounded nice, so i decided to get a quick recording of my shower. The equipment i used was a laptop with a rode nt1-a and a sennheiser md 421-2.

Came up with a drumbeat in garageband and soon after a bassline that fit the drums. Added "satan", some handclaps and oriented kind of sounds. Also did a darker mid-part to make a feeling of something bad happening. Did it for something called victors crypt on youtube. Think it would fit to anything dark and cool. A recording i took on 04/26/2014, presumably on cassette tape, of an art installation in madison, wi titled "asylum," created by marina kelly and megan katz. To my knowledge, this is the only audio recording that exists of the soundscape, though if asked by kelly or katz i will respectfully take it down. "asylum" was a temporary art installation located in the tenney park passageway under east johnson street. From what i saw when i was there, it was just a speaker or two playing some ambient sounds. These sounds could have been generated based on environmental input, but due to lack of evidence i can't conclusively say that was indeed the case. I was in a bad mood on this recording so apologies for the negativity/language.

I get annoyed easily when i hear someone telling me what to do. It gets me in trouble. This was a while ago. I hadn't ever been caught at that point, and he was the one recording. He actually got me started on that. Of course, i had taken off the offending articles of clothing and kicked off my sneakers, and was locked outside my own front door that way. Of course i couldn't go anywhere, and the only unlocked window had an air conditioner in it. Yes i did. Right over the top of it, might have looked pretty clumsy, at least…i know it was risky but not as bad as standing out there. Luckily it was a back window. Unluckily, it was raining. Hard. Should have let him build that fence.

A music piece i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's made on a vintage piano-sound with strings and more coming in at the end. Feels dark and dystopia, like something bad is about to happen. I think it would fit perfect to anything spooky, sci-fi, mysterious or anything else. You'll be the judge. We went to strasbourg to follow an invitation by an photographer to his vernissage! to bad that we got stucked into the traffic jam and arrived while the gallery was already closed! that was really a bummer because the drive took us four hours!lucky that i had my zoom h6 because strasbourg is by far an amazing city with so many street life. It is insane how many little streets with these tiny cafes and all the people around! it is like a magnet and you got sucked in. The french people know how to live life and i recorded in 3 parts of the city to give you a nice ambience feeling. This is part 1.

Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.
