Elizabeth evans park in mount dora, florida is a small park surrounded on two sides by lake dora. It's a great place to watch the birds, the boats, and the sunset.
This is a field recording from my friend walker's yard in las cruces, nm that i made on a band tour in may 2006. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. One lonesome bird that lives in a tree on the neighbour's court. I recorded the tweets early in the morning from my balcony testing a røde videomc pro. There was some far away plane noise that i've filtered down quite heavily, so that now the bird sounds kind of 'isolated' and maybe somehow synthetic. Additionaly i passed an eq and a compressor (in audacity).
Some birds recorded in stereo in the woods near my house. It is some low frequent sounds in background but you can just send it through an equalizer with a highpass-filter and then get rid of it.
Bird song recorded in my back yard. One particular bird with a quite complex song steals the show. Includes moderate background noise from distant traffic.
Here in the midwest one sure sign that winter "has left the building" is when the neo-tropical migrants arrive in the forests to gorge themselves on the multitude of insects, and to raise a family. One of my favorite bird-songs is this "zipper" sounding call of the northern parula. Perhaps you have heard this very unique call while out in the woods. I recorded this with my zoom h4n recorder, using its internal stereo microphones. This sound was recorded around 7am on april 29th 2013.
Bird call in north central massachusetts, in a wooded area within a city. Sound is up in a tree. I suspect it is baby bird calling to a parent, and the softer response is from a different tree. There is a third bird, possibly unrelated.
Call of an unidentified bird in canberra, australia recorded at sunset (around 21:30) on 9 january 2019. Recorded on a mobile phone (nokia 6. 1) and slightly enhanced in audacity (normalisation and noise removal).
The sounds of a plastic bird toy, that you fill with water and then blow into to give the sound of a bird singing. Sounds surpisingly realistic considering it's just a plastic toy. Recorded in a small room in the tower of a castle. Sample also has a pretty heavy reverb added to it.
