I had been out on a field recording trip in sheffield and on my arrival home was struck by the vigour and volume of the birdsong in my garden so i made a quick recording of it while i had my portable pcm recorder to hand. There are quite a number of different birdcalls on the recording but sadly i cannot specify the particular bird names.
A raw recording of two separate forests at 4:00 in the morning. Edited with audacity to enhance the audio appeal and remove as much background noise as possible. Use however you see fit.
Wood ducks murmuring among themselves as they feed, and then flying off with alarm calls when they see me. Wind in the trees in the background. Recorded on an olympus ls-14.
Recorded on a walk through the nature again. I was standing directly under the tree where the most present bird was tweeting. Answering birds are much quiter but still hearable.
Two small dogs barking at each other, with some bird chirping and indistinct chatter of people in the recording too. A sunday afternoor in spring in a small town.
