A "mockup" of footstep sounds, made by "drumming" with my fingers and nails on a cardboard box. Recorded with one of those sheap computer headset microphones, edited in audacity to remove the undesired parts. It sounds a bit like footsteps on a wooden floor.

Cymbals need some 15khz eq increase because of the dynamic microphone's treble roll-off. No copyrights, free for all uses. I recommend using native instruments battery to launch the samples. Door to stairwell opens and closes and someone walks up two sets of stairs, the first one slighty faster than the second. Then another door is opened and the walker enters an office where music is playing very softly and there's a bit of an office din. The office portion can also sound like entering a hotel lobby or outer waiting area of a symphony orchestra concert. The stairwell is concrete and metal. It's very echo-y. Walking on wood floor, medium pace, dress shoes. You can hear mild traffic noises outside. Recording with mxl 990 condenser, mic near the floor, used x-hum and z-noise plugins to clean it up. As always, free to use for any reason or purpose, with one caveat. It must be used for good, and not evil :d.

This sound was recorded at the campus of poblenou of the pompeu fabra university, in the area of tallers in the corridor a-b. It was recorded between 14:00-14:20 with a zoom h2 recorder. The sound consist in percussive and low-mid frequency sound produced by the whole pencil case falling and impacting into the floor.
