Large ship 40 metres long boat with engines running. M/v blue horizon, operating in the red sea. The engines shut down about 1 min in leaving the sound of the power generator and air conditioning. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.
Bubbling sounds on exhale and regulator hiss during inhale. There is briefly a whizz sound from a rigid inflatable boat propeller passing nearby. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.

The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.

Experimental recording idea i had in summer 2017, i buried two contact microphones half a foot deep in a rock beach and captured the noise ambience picked up in the rocks, as well as the tide coming over the microphones eventually. On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea. The recording features the ambient noise on deck, mainly the drone of the ship and it's diesels, some sea in the background, and the occasional door opening and closing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.
