As the earth continues to slowly tilt the northern hemisphere away from the warmth of the sun's rays, the pace of life in midwestern fields slows down. This recording was made at 3pm on wednesday october 5 2022 in a huge, 70-plus acre, abandoned farm field. A field bordered thousands of acres of state-owned forest. The soft peeps of the few remining birds, grubbing around for protein-packed insects is the soundtrack. At 5 minutes into this recording a delightful, friendly exchange between two birds as if they are saying "hey, let's help each other find food before this field is blanketed with snow at cold. ". At 7:05 in this recording a truck slowly drives by, softly crunching gravel and the driver slows down to witness this annual, melancholy autumnal change. A large (12 person) elevator located in an apartment building that was built as a hotel for the 1972 olympic games in munich, germany. There are four of these in the building, and they all rattle like nobody's business. In this recording, a part of the elevator arrival chime that plays on the ground floor can be heard in the beginning. Then, i walk into the elevator (two clicks in the recording here) and the doors close. Then it travels up 12 floors and the doors open with a very concerning metal rubbing sound.

This is a sound design with a mix of bike chains, a car and room door and a rolling ball to create the sound of a large, intimidating elevator sound. Enjoy!.

Hey!. I've made this for a friend's project. But the project is now stalled, so i decided to release my work to the world. The sound is created with multiple layers of zynaddsubfx digital synthesizer. Sequenced and rendered using lmms. This was my first serious attempt at creating high-quality game sounds. I've spend quite some time refining and adding detail to the sounds, so they are rich and convincing. I hope this is a production at top level, that could be used in a commercial motion picture. Have i reached my goal?. If you want to use them, you'll need to edit it by yourself :). There are several different firing sounds, laser beams, discharge, sounds of plasma projectiles hitting a wall etc. . . Have fun and don't forget to give me a credit and link to this page!.
