This one was also made in sylenth1, its a pretty dirty gritty sounding patch i made. Has a bit of the 'decimate' bitcrusher (sylenths', and i also added a bass amp in logic to fatten the sound up, its played in g. I always name my loops with the first letter on its key hence the name ghost chord=) , and is a loop made at 128bpm. Feel free to use it in any of your works + more importantly let me know why you like it?i take quite some time into adding details in my sounds. I find making a loop can be very good for tuning your ears & production techniques, because like an artist if your painting something small u add a lot more detail. Sounds of the squeaking and creaking wooden floor in goethe's house in weimar, germany. The recording starts with the staircase, then some recordings in rooms, almost without any other human sounds.
Here are some drums i made, on the synthesizer again. In order they are: parallel compressed kick, regular kick, snare, closed hi-hat and open hi-hat. The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. Recording of my own fireplace made with a tascam dr-40 (internal mics). I blasted up the lower freqs, kept the mid-range close to 0, then from 5-16 khz went back way up, slowly tapering down to below zero for the highest frequencies. All editing done in audacity, compressed using soundkonverter in linux. This is a good sound effect for either a bonfire or a house burning down, which is what i made it for.
