Sharpening knife : sharp sound. The sound was post-processed to make the sound of the knife seem more scary. Afiando faca : som afiado. Arrastando uma faca: som trêmulo de uma faca sendo arrastada em uma superfície irregular. Girl yelling : high pitched sound. The sound was post-processed to seem like the sound happened in a room full of echo. Garota gritando : som agudo. O som foi pós-processado para parecer que o som aconteceu em uma sala cheia de eco. Scream struggle.

Got a group of about 8 people to say "hey!" a few times. Layered all the takes, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I've used this one a bunch in my own songs. Sometimes, to achieve a convincing gang vocal effect, when i don't have a gang, you can sing your line a few times, and then layer this "hey" under each syllable, and you can get a pseudo-gang vocal. Works in a pinch if your mix is dense enough. I'd love if you'd credit joshua scott or rjc studios if you use this sample, but don't sweat it if you don't. Good artists borrow, great artists steal.

This is my recording of a buzz saw sawing with high, metallic screaming.

It's hard to find a good doppler scream and harder to make the effect in sound editing systems. Here's a few falling scream varieties. Just toy with the pitch and you make a variety of plummeting people. Recorded at home on a phone recorder.

Just made a test for my future horror game. This is actually me scraming in a pillow. It makes the scream easier to add echoes.
