This is knock sound i made for my horror videos. I just want to publish it so the others maybe use it.

It's a sound i got from a lost recovered wav file. It was a 24-bit file but i have imported it as a 16-bit one, the ruseulting sound is an interenstin non-uniform noise with a modulation to it. Could be a neat sound for broken electronics.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Just playing with the alesis vortex keytar i got at a garage sale for practically nuttin'. The guitar synth is revitar. And i ran it through amplitude. Timings a off and it sound fake. Okay if the sound you're going for is a drunk robot, i got you covered. Actually, i think a keytar and a good guitar synth would actually be pretty sweet. Best garage sale find ever. Recorded while on a walk in myneighborhood. Washed up on the street was amixture of sand, rocks, and loose gravel. A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. I needed the sound of a sign rattling violently in the wind, so i manufactured this with a piece of corrugated metal that had been screwed onto a piece of wood fretwork. I rattled it against a wood box in front of the mic.

I had an old upright piano that i rarely played (i'm a bass player/audio tech). I used a felt mallet to strike the piano wires from the bottom of the piano. Enjoy!. .

. . . But i recorded this. I recorded the sound to celebrate my first stereo patch. Yep, now i have squeezed in three mixers and will be able to make stereo effects on my modular.

This is the engine rumble sound i recorded in stereo with 2 m-audio pencil condenser mics through pro tools. It is the sound of a 1971 or 72 plymouth duster that i used for scenes in a music video i recently filmed.

I recorded this sound at school by spinning a music sheet stand in circles. I thought it sounded like it could be used for something, and many people say it sounds like an old wooden fan, so i uploaded it.

I could never find this sound, so i made one. It's actually just pitched down record surface noise, but i think it works pretty well.

One in a set of hi-hat. . . Like(?) sounds i made in sound forge. I don't actually remember if this was made from fm-synthesis, or from a recording. I think they could be good for percussion.

Was playing with my modular. I had to rush away from the synth. By accident i happened to record 22 minutes. I give you 5 minutes of that accidental recording.

I had been out on a field recording trip in sheffield and on my arrival home was struck by the vigour and volume of the birdsong in my garden so i made a quick recording of it while i had my portable pcm recorder to hand. There are quite a number of different birdcalls on the recording but sadly i cannot specify the particular bird names.

I created this sound by editing a clip of my voice. I think it could be used as either a "powering on", or a"elevator going up" sound. This sound, like everything i upload here,is completely free for anyone to use. I hope it is useful. 🎶.

This is something i made with audacity using the generate>risset drum option. After i generated one long risset drum, i made a short one below it, copied it & added a delay to the track with the short decay risset drum. After that, i just leveled everything a couple times. :).

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

One friday night, me and my partner were eating dinner, and we both heard a click. She perks up, "what was that?" and i said "the dryer is running, probably something in it" and she goes "no it was inside" (our dryer is like a back door outside porch kinda deal). I noticed it came from inside as well, in the kitchen, but mentally shrugged it off because lasagna. But now i know she heard it inside too, so i walk in the kitchen where the sound came from and don't see anything moving or on. I took note of where my cats were in case anything was being chewed on: one in bed, one on the couch, they aren't chewing on anything or are even near the clicking sound, so back to dinner. About 45 minutes later, dinner is wrapped up, my partner is asleep and i start turning off all the lights. When i turn the kitchen lights off, there is a light that stays on in the corner. I have a car battery recharger there: it has usb ports in case ya lose power, charger cables, and a flashlight attached on the side. . . . Which is on. I turn it off: exact same click that i heard earlier. Do i have a ghost?.

Basically i connected one lfo to the polivoks in. Now when i think of it. Wonder if that added something…. And how much. And to cv1 i connected a square wave and to cv2 a wide frequency sine wave. Resonance at max. Think i have to reanalyse this patch later… i’ll be back!.

I was trying to record some "wind" noises with my mouth by blowing at the mics, when i came to close and my beard started to crackle against them. I liked the soudn and i actually used it later on some stuff - it's not a great quality recordning but it might interest someone. Sorry for the "windy" sounds at the start. . . I took the audio of this robin chirping from a video i was making in our rural garden. I could see a robin singing away high up in an oak tree across the road from our house. I have taken out some of the neighbourhood noise but apart from that this is the audio directly off the cam corder.
