This is a collection of samples recorded from the sing-a-ma-jigs toy line released sometime around 2010. This includes all sounds made by the three sing-a-ma-jigs shown. All samples recorded at 48k, 24bit wav files with a rode m3 microphone and motu 828 mk3 preamp. Everything leveled to -16 lufs integrated. 122 samples total.

Vocal, speaking, and audio snippets of interviews of visual artists that i did as part of a collaborative music project in 2018. The idea was to chop up and use these samples for a trance / punk form of music - which we jokingly called prance music. I used some, but never released any music with it in the end. Maybe one day i will, but in the meantime - i hope you can find some use of these.

A broken cd drive trying to read a cd. It sounded weird so i decided to upload it :). This recording is unprocessed (no denoising, no dynamic range compression, etc. ).

This is the sound coming out of the speaker of an old portable cassette recorder / player, when i push play with no cassette inside. Made in japan by ge, model no. 3-5313a.

A water faucet set to drip in a chaotic manner, without much regularity. I put a plastic container lid under that for sound to be more pronounced, but that added crunchiness and now it doesn’t resemble dripping as much. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised in audacity plus filtered bass out a bit. P. S. I need to say that i foolishly recorded it into an im app and the recording ended up as. Ogg, so it’s not as good as could be. Still i hope there is enough spectral richness left. I should have used a dedicated recording app which writes. Flac files, i just hadn’t thought. Maybe several days later i’ll make a couple of other takes! (update: now i did. ). ———————. I’m still here! i like you guys, i’m just lazy to make sounds and i don’t want to record as much as the quality is not as good when using just phones, moreover that already many many people record various things professionally anyway and share here.

A music part i did in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I started with the drums. Once i made a beat i liked i added a choir singing "fading into the night". This is a documentary i have created about crimes in local park. I have interviewed people and also a police officer to get different opinions.

I noticed that there were hardly any royalty-free spiderman sound effects, so i made this one.

I had a mason jar filled with smoothie ingredients so i jammed on it.

Random stretch i did once using paulstretch. Instead of having it lost in my computer i decided to upload it to freesound and maybe give it a life.

I recorded myself eating a sandwich while i was on a discord call and this is all the good stuff that came out of it.

I found a short sample of myself, i played it backwards, and it sounds like the word marijuana. At the end of the sample you can hear it really clearly.

This is an imitation of a walk i did where i found sounds from freesound. Org and replaced the sounds in my walk with the sounds found here.

Office chair i do most of my sound design in. Has a nice creak when i lean forward and back.
