This is a recording of the bat colony, or roost, that is situated in the centre of bellingen new south wales australia. The roost is next to the bellingen river in on of the last remaining patches of low altitude rainforest in the region. Recorded using tascam pro dat with akg ck 98 shotgun microphone with p12-48 pre-amp, also known as akg se300b.

Recorded on my zoom h4n in early spring at 1:32 am. I believe this to be a call of the great horned owl that is found all over north american as well as parts of central and south anerica. There is a distant sound of a dog barking but there are three owl calls, with the last two the cleanest.

In the middle of a village is a waterconstruction going on. Workers open the street to get to a waterpipe. Here on freesound is a short version. The long version is on my yt channel world wide sound effects. I recorded with a zoom h1 last week.

It is a sound of 6 seconds containing a single note of music: si (493. 9 hz) with a amplitude of 1. The sound is sawtooth. Work on the envelope ( the curve) reduced to regular intervals on the first 2 seconds then there is 2 seconds without modifications before the last 2 seconds where there is regular intervals again. This sound like morse.

Last night, a strong rainstorm blew in. The wind chimes on my porch were so beautiful, i couldn't help but take a few recordings. Added reverb for a more dreamlike feel, faded the edges in and out for smoothness. Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated always! hope you like it.

Each sound above is exactly 2 seconds long except the second-to-last sound (4 seconds long) and the last sound (8 seconds long). All sounds synthesized in propellerheads reason's thor polyphonic synthesizer. Here's how i did it: used two oscillators (one noise oscillator and another multiple-wave oscillator), and then passed them through two different filters. In each filter, i lfo'd the frequency knob at 2. 0hz (120bpm), and the pattern you see above is each oscillator-filter combination muted in different ways. For the last sound, i applied a phaser effect and automated the frequency knob or some other knob to give that pitch-up pitch-down effect.

This is the new traffic signal in town. We watched the stephen hawking show on pbs last night as they tried to filter out voices from space and i thought this would make a good alien voice trying to contact us. Chldren were playing in the neighbour when a low lightning activity thunderstorm came to pécel and lasted for 1-2 hours. It produced 10 mm of moderate rain and bright intracloud lightning. Recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone. The storm arrival had a little disaster movie impression for me.

July 24, 2011 was a historic day in japan. After almost 60 years, tv analog signals were terminated. I just can't believe it. My tube now shows nothing but sand storm. All tv signals were switched to digital. The last vital sign was sent from nhk, and stopped. Recorded with marantz pmd661 and at835st.

Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

I was waiting for a person at the conservatory of venice and i decided to step out on the terrace and trying a field recording. I was at the last floor of a tall building, you can hear people talking on the ground floor, music coming out from classrooms. Recorded with a zoom h1 without windshield, unfortunately there is some wind and handling noises.

Snowy path with crunchy crust, you approach the hen house. They approach you eagerly, anticipating some sort of edible gift. There is no gift. The hens slowly realize the reality of their situation and return to their scavenging. You produce a deep clucking bellow -- one last attempt to reach them. But it's too late, the hens pay you no mind. It is time to go.

There is a man in besiktas ferry port. He sits and plays trumpet between üsküdar port and kadıköy port. I saw him there couple times. So he belongs that place in a sense. I added flanger at two point just for my taste :) recorded by zoom h6 with internal xy mic on last quarter of 2019.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

Sounds of a fireworks show i recorded at a private party last year. While not the sound of a huge fireworks show you might hear at disneyland for example, i was right under the rockets being launced so i think it captured good sounds. It was over a lake with a crowd and boats coming and going but i think i was able to edit all those sounds out.

I created a click track and got rid out the last two beats of each bar. I shortened the spaces between the first two beats of every bar. I then added a reverb effect and created another layer of brownian noise to even out the silence. I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. Recorded with rare pair of xy mics of zoom h2 (hand-held) @ 96khz/24-bit. Unprocessed and unedited recording. Converted to flac with audacity.

Sounds i used are actually robot voice slow down a lot & scream 1 sound edited & slow it down but cut it out because it's long & the last sound is dragon from skyrim but i edited with kindmaster. This is the sound of an arrow pulling back and crashing a group of pots and pans or glass bottles. I was heavily inspired by a sound effect from “cartoon express”. Again, this was made from scratch like the last sound i posted. You can use this sound however you want. Just give me credit!.

After many months- and a trip to san clemente, ca and back- my qu-bit nebulae v1 is working! this is a snippet from qu-bit’s own double bass sample, run through a mimeophon and qu-bit’s own fdn reverb, with lashings of modulation wherever possible. My wonder at the sheer madness of the sonic experience here is only matched by my joy at having a working granular processor at last.
