Robin in the garden to test 2 wm-61a mics mounted on a disc at the focus of a parabola. Panasonic ls-5 edited only with eq to reduce traffic sounds and to offset dish characteristics a little.

This is an artificial lifeform. The sound of a worm striving to be free in a hostile ambient. Done for video game sound design , sine tones pitched up and down randomically , then ran through a max granular patch.

Recorded using tascam dr-40 and pair of behringer c2 mics c. 10am, sunday march 19, 2017. Location: robin hood way (byway), manor hills - c. 2km south of urban edge worksop, nottinghamshire. Mixed scots pine & larch plantation with beech trees adjacent to trackway. Dry with light breeze. The murmur of the wind in the pines runs through out this recording - ebbing and flowing with the breeze. There is much woodland birdsong. Some other noises of human making can also be hear and interrupt the otherwise peaceful rural ambience. Distant jet aeroplane 0:13truck on nearby road (b6034) 2:43drone of propeller aircraft can also be hear in much of recording - prominent at 2:57, 3:23muffled gunshots 3:04, 3:34, 7:01,7:56clearer gunshot 4:50distant motorbike 8:26 to end.

Recorded may 2013. Bird song & chatter in an english deciduous woodland. Distant road traffic is audible.

Recorded with a tascam dr07 mkii in a secluded woodland in west wales. Totally natural without any effects.

Sounds of a 15-year-old dog with laryngal paralysis chewing on a rawhide bone in her crate. (very sad to me as lela is a beloved family member and near the end of her life, but maybe someone can put all this suffering and racket to good use. ) at about the 01:17 mm:ss mark, things get louder because i leaned the recorder up against her crate, near her face. Prior to that the mic was about 5' away, on my kitchen table. I apologize for any unexpected clangs. I didn't edit this file, just uploaded it. Good luck. I'd say "enjoy" but these sounds are pretty gross. :).

An organic squishy sound. Very wet and slimey sounding. Taken by getting a large bowl of very thick noodle soup at cold temperature and stirring it with a spoon.

Walking through my local woods , on the lizard peninsula, cornwall, mainly birds with loud bees. I had the mic on a selfie stick and was holding it close to the bees, the birds were loud still.

Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. This recording was taken from the balcony of an apartment in johor bahru malaysia on september 30th 2022 at about 1:30pm. It was monsoon season but not raining and the weather was hazy and muggy. The recording features the drone of a busy city punctuated by a whippersnipper, a building site, birds, a light aeroplane and car horns. At around the 4:30 mark there's two loud motorcycles that race each other and echo around the city in a most glorious way. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.

End of summer. Field recording in the surface of a compost mound. Sound of several flies species (diptera) crickets(ortoptera) and a lot of undefined crackles blops and clicks result of the frenetic activity of various types of grubs and worms into the rotting organic matter.
