This is a collection of whooshes that i created using melted sounds' whoosh reaktor patch, loaded with a collection of samples i recorded of a piece of sheet metal being rubbed with my hand. There are 35 different whooshes of fairly similar length in 01, and 29 varied whooshes in 02 which were hand-performed within the patch. Ps. Sounds like someone is hitting a metal plate on a construction site several times. It was synthesized from coloured noise on a modular synthesizer and then a small about of reverb was added.

I recently found this awesome sounding metal cover in my workshop and decided to do some high quality recordings with it. I used akg c414, a neve portic 5012 preamp my rme bayface and some slight postproduction (compression and slight eq). The sound is open source and can be downloaded in 24bit wave here.
