This sound was recorded december 11, 2013, using an alesis qs8, a roland 550w keyboard amp, the dm1 app for the ipad 2, an m-audio preamp, and multitrack recording software: sonar 6 studio.

I designed this sound from scratch using a 20 millisecond pop of audio looped and processed heavily using ableton live's sampler instrument. The loop is 2 bars long, but it this sample file i trail off for quite a few seconds sustaining the note to show off the sustain processing on the synth.

We needed some blade runner style opening for a production so i came up with this 1 min piece that has that kind of feel (vangelis, tron legacy). It was written with dimension pro. I washed up some glasses and found them making a loud dripping noise when left on to dry. The water was dripping off the glass onto the corrugated drying side and forming a little wall with each drip, each time there as a drip the wall broke transferred the vibration on to the resonating tumbler.
