I opened my dorm room window to record the first storm of spring in springfield, missouri. Recorded using the stereo setting on my blue yeti microphone.

Heavy rain hitting a slightly open window. Loopable. :d. This sound was accidentally recorded when sampling a storm. The window was slightly open, so the outside rain is slightly audible. Recorded with the zoom h2's built in mic's.

This sound was generated from pink noise only, using granular synthesis, filters, envelope shapers, delay and reverb.

Recorded with a roland r-05. I placed it under my pickup truck on a very rainy day. The sound of rainfall has a little bit of a metallic sound as the rain hits my truck. There is also a river-flowing kind of sound as this street floods in heavy rain, and the water runs from the street into a storm drain right beside my driveway. Various vehicles occasionally pass by.

The sound of a windy rainy day, as heard from indoors near the windows. Windows are heard rattling, house/windows are heard creaking. Recorded using an h2n zoom recorder.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. I recorded this sound in a large greenhouse where all the plants were getting watered by an automatic system. You can hear the leaves getting hit by water. It might also sound like rain to some if you disregard the background noise of the water rushing through the little streams.
