This was originally composed at the keyboard as an improv on multiple tracks. I sped it up to 210 bpm and ran it through the vita virtual synthesizer as "soundtrack percussion", amps off, s and r filters on and lots of delay. A virtual drum loop with a human touch. Heavy beat. I created a first rhythm track -> tempo 110. 0 bpm, beat of bar 3then a second pluck track in 60 midi pluck height and a steep fadei repeated the first track, driving the sound very low to give more rhythm to the sound.

Recorded x/y stereo with two audio technica at4041 mics into a marantz pmd 661 recorder. Normalized plus some eqing using fabfilter pro-q3.
