Recorded on a late summer afternoon at a beach on the vineyard sound with a zoom h2, using the internal mics. Intermittent voices and a dog can be heard in the background.

The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.

Recorded on a zoom h2n at crosby beach in liverpool on the 29/08/20 wind was 15mph. Biplane flies directly overhead followed by a few mins of beach ambience. File has been noise reduced with izotope software. If anyone requires the original raw wav file then drop me a message.

Experimental recording idea i had in summer 2017, i buried two contact microphones half a foot deep in a rock beach and captured the noise ambience picked up in the rocks, as well as the tide coming over the microphones eventually. If you have any use of these recordings please forward my way i would love to see what can be done with these.

The sound was recorded by holding the microphone in my hand while i dived knee-deep into the water and walk, filming the crashing of the waves (also on my legs). High-frequency sound details (the foam of the sea, the impact of waves on each other, etc. ) are much more audible here. Processing:* volume adjustment;* 120hz high pass filter (to reduce low some low frequencies rumble due to the wind);* cut and crossfade to eliminate very few mechanical noise of my hand on the mic;.
