This file demonstrates the "before" qualities of the sunset editorial library. This file had a lot of noise and distortion. It was cleaned up using izotope's rx software, then uploaded as "s27-29 chimpanzee whimper and scream. Wav" (effect #675431. ).

A long atmo taken in the indian restaurant at the "scheune" culture center in dresden. Very useful for film and radio work as there is no background music. Recorded with a zoom h2 with 90° dispersion.

The canal next to the hotel continental. Featuring water, people talking, and passing motorboats and gondolas. These are some recordings i did on a trip to venice with my zoom h2, set to 90° dispersion. They are also available as surround recordings (4ch, with the rear channals at 120° dispersion) just send me a message if you want them. They're just as free as these stereo versions.

I recorded these sounds in three different offices. This is the result of them mixed, because i had an order for a sound like that for a film that was a scene of a noisy office as well, because it had many people working together. The recording was very good, was originally obtained on a machine with 8 channels of 8 large diaphragm microphones positioned to cover all recording environments. -----------------------gravei esses sons em tres escritórios diferentes. The sales crew are a merry lot, bantering loudly with the tourists of different nations that are absolutely cramming the place. Lots of multinational voices can be heard, men, women and children talking loudly and all at once. Under that is the intense hum of a cooling system working itself to death!the ice cream was good too. I can recommend the peanut flavor. Recorded with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

I've made anoing remix for my neighbor who is very noisy and unpolite.

Wind noises recorded under a window in a high city block. Apart from huge amount of mic internal noise the recording is nice. Could be useful only when played really quiet. Captured with zoom h2 with hi gain at 96khz/24-bit. Edited and normalized with audacity.

Tags says it all. I thought the sound is good enough to upload, otherwise i would have just deleted it.

Japanese traffic in the summer: passing cars and tracks and some motorcycles, cicadas, recorded with iphone, nearby crossroad of the six-lane road and a large park in tokyo. First 40 seconds is crossing the six-lane road. From 54 seconds cars in the six lanes start to come toward me and pass by. At the end of the audio, the signal turns to red again. Pedestrians cannot cross this road.
