I recorded this sound in a large greenhouse where all the plants were getting watered by an automatic system. You can hear the leaves getting hit by water. It might also sound like rain to some if you disregard the background noise of the water rushing through the little streams.

Created and formatted by walker farrell for use in the make noise morphagene. Utilizing a make noise modular system to create short recordings of pulsar, glisson, and trainlet synthesis, and recorded into the morphagene for modulation, layering and re-sampling. Video demonstration here!.
Here's a low volume, low frequency noise recorded during an acoustic survey of a condominium to identify a sleep-disturbing noise. It is primarily a combination of 13, 18 and 23 hz (5 hz steps). Not audible on computer speakers, it should be listened to on closed back headphones or very good quality sound system.
Traditional Pythagorean tuning of the diatonic tetrachord. Created by Hyacinth (talk) using Sibelius 5. MIDI pitch bend appears to match intervals (0,64, 96,62, 64,61, and 80,64).
Another sound that has been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. This sound byte is an odd one that i made when i was pretty bored, it might be good for a drone or sound of a phantom or something. It could even be a warning or system message for a game. Either way, hope that this strange sound is useful to you somehow.
Do major scale in three system. Firstly one by one, then pythagoras + just intonation (5 limit), pythagoras + 12tet, just intonation + 12tet, and at the end pythagoras + just intonation + 12tet alltogether. The dancing fountain scene at bugis junction where the nozzles shoot up the water one by one from the water jet pumps. Note that the water jet system for the fountain itself may consist of 4 patterns but this sound effect uses one of them. There are two extra patterns where the water from the nozzles goes to the center.

Here are the highlights from a mri machine (a ge signa, i believe). Probably useful for robot sounds. You'll also note the cooling system in there as well. These things dissipate a huge amount of energy and are quite interesting. The actual sounds come from vibration of the coils as the machine runs through it's patterns.
Recorded using the built-in mics of a zoom h4npro (2016 edition) @ 24bit. This is a small amount of liquid being poured into a drain about the size of a silver dollar. The original recorded captured the apartment's heating system. I used noise reduction, then normalized the waveform. This sound is free to use whenever and wherever.
Swipe your key card or fob, the security system beeps, the door lock clicks, and you open a creaky heavier metal door and enter into a noisy heated foyer. Hear all of my packs here.
Recorded rope-on-rope contact. No credit is required to be given when using this sound. However, i'd be happy to know where these sounds are being used and what projects the community is working on!. Filenames created with the universal category system format. Https://universalcategorysystem. Com/.

I get this call from my daughter's elementary school, first week of school and already a cyber attack, messing up the entire school's computer systems. It is indeed a sad world where not even grade school kids are safe from these cyber pirates. So i tweaked the recording a bit, added panned out echo and noise reductio. Enjoy!.
Who has ever experienced complete inner peace and tranquility knows the feeling of peace that remains for days in your system. Of course there are always those impressions around you that distract you from that. But by regularly absorbing that silence, that tranquility, this peace grows. Eventually the feeling of peace is ruling and there is only just an occasional little storm. That keeps you alert, so that is good as well. So, peace at last.
Yep, i'm reading alen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 4. Changed pitch on one osc and added some drums. Some editing in audacity compressor and limiter.
That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.
This sweet sound is recorded during my nightshift from sa. 2. Sept. 2006 to the 3. Sept. Producing the sonntagszeitung(newspaper) at tamedia printing compound. Yep, i'm reading allen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 5. 20 modules involved. The ending is just modular freak-out. . . Whit the turn of one pot. . . Leading to some nice sound fx.
While editing the sound i posted prior to this, some sort of glitch in logic's system gave me this. I made sure to keep it for freesound. It's just a few seconds of a glitchy, vocal-esque sound. Already mixed it together somewhat. It might be good for dj's.
From the depths of the industrial zone on zarkon. This loop is a combination of various 'found sounds' one is a focke wulf 190 bmw engine sound dropped in pitch, a squeak from a universal joint on a suspension system and a loop of an industrial guillotine. Heres a quality fat "street" beat ready for use in a aggressive hip-hop or big-beat production. Long sample containing subtle variations and a ending tail fx. Lots of bass and sub in the kick, designed to bang hard in a car system. Ps:would appreciate a link to interesting finished productions using it!.
The apple plaintalk microphone jack used on some older macintosh systems is designed to accept an extended 3. 5 mm three-conductor phone connector; in this case, the tip carries power for a preamplifier inside the microphone. The sound a rather fast repeating beat i made using an apple plaintalk microphone in a rather modern windows laptop using audacity. I messed around with the jack, and took out all the silent parts.
This caught my attention as an unfamiliar sound, and i actually had to investigate to learn what it was. It was the raindrops hitting some styrofoam bodyboards near a swimming pool, which at times sounded almost more like a hollow "pop" than a "drip. ". In the background one can hear thunder, rain, and the humming of a pool filtration system. Recorded with an iphone 7.
This is an extended version of my previous entry recording of the radio patch from the houston fbi field office i recorded from my police scanner. They do a radio check test every thursday night. They call various federal agencies around the houston area in the new p25 digital radio system, not analog. Some of the agencies respond, some do not. I wanted to post this so the other agencies could be heard during the radio check. Enjoy!.
Same as yesterday, but i've added the sound when the huge vehicle extends its two enormous landing gears. For getting the feeling of megapower when whole village shakes you need a speaker system that can generate at least 100 watts at as low as 10 hz. I have a 800 watt sub which i can only use when cats and wife aren't in the house.

formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is a small collection of splices from inside my modular and some field recordings. These recordings correspond with some of my influences and hobbies of skateboarding, scuba diving, and camping. With these in a morphagene one is able to have a small window into my brain and how i sometimes see modular music. All splices made to work well with the make noise music system. Enjoy. .
Recorded this on an afternoon in the fall of 2014 at a buddhist monastery in a small coastal town outside bangkok, derived from video taken by a samsung galaxy s3. At prayer time, the monks assemble and one monk leads with a microphone. This recording reflects the somewhat tinny eq of that sound system, and also includes some dimly-heard background noise from the outside environment (e. G. , passing vehicles).
Simulation of fingal´s cave (mendelssohn) similar sea swell using modules of the make noise shared system and others to create the feeling of being on a small boat being borne up on the wave. Fits onto morphagene. If you want to know how i made it in more detail, pm me. Enjoy.
It can be described as an energy shield pulsating. Furthermore analysis dictates that can be sound as an anti-gravity engine or an energy whirling guroscope as a cental matrix of a spaceship. The constraction of the sound consists of an ambient meditative soundtrack "transmuted" using lower tones frequenses, raising bass and phaser pack. Sound application system audacity.
A compressor at the atacama large millimeter array (alma) radio telescope, at 5028 m elevation, in chile. The compressor, which is part of the cryogenic system, makes a rhythmic wheezing sound. Some voices are heard in the background. Loops at 120 bpm (loop points set in. Wav file). Alma is an astronomical interferometer of 66 radio telescopes in the atacama desert of northern chile, which observe electromagnetic radiation at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths from the depths of space. .
At the morning, saint-blimont, la somme, france. Recorded on 2018/11/01 at 8h24 by a rode nt4, sound devices 302 and olympus ls100. This is a good example that the rode nt4 is not a good system for quiet ambiances. High-pass (160 hz) on the sound devices, +12 db gain on pro tools.
A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. The alarm tone comes from the sound from this url: (http://www. Freesound. Org/people/playpauseandrewind/sounds/120526/#comments).
