Morning ambience. First floor. Window, facing the sea at a distance. Surrounded by houses on all sides, a small garden of the neighbour below.

Recorded oct. 20 2015 at 2pm with tascam dr-05 from balcony of downtown vancouver bc apartment building.

Traffic in richmond, london 08-04-15 at 13:00. Buses, lorries, cars, motorbikes. Some footsteps, street chatter, an old norton motorbike, a church bell that strikes 1pm at 03:35 on file. General atmosphere.

Field-recording of the ambience in a small rural village in nicaragua. You can hear a car, near and distant birds, kids and fathers voices, the waves from the near managua lake, and some other bugs typical of the afternoon sounds.

This was recorded in the centre of oxford, near the junction between broad street and turl street, on 23rd february 2013. I was facing west along broad street with turl street, and the pavement, to my left. There are many different sounds on this recording including bikes being parked (i was standing near a bike rack) and ridden, cars lurking for a parking space, dropping people off and turning round (broad street has a car park in the middle of it), plenty of different people walking past and talking, and a big issue seller. There is the occasional bit of wind noise, but not as much as i'd feared (luckily the wind was behind me). Recorded with a marantz pmd661 with built-in microphones.

This is a recording done on top of castle hill of the ambience in cambridge. This was done for a radiophonic project for univeristy where my group created a soundwalk through cambridge up to castle hill. Garden ambience: birds chirping in the background as well as the neighbours children playing in backyard in the distance. Recorded with the zoomh4n recorder with the built in stereo microphones. A low shelf was added to the sound to get rid of wind noises.

Bird singing recorded at around 3:40 am with yinger bm 800 ldc-microphone in front of my open window, i had to add some noise reduction because of my computer fan with reafir (there isn't really much of that noise left, atleast if compared to original). You can also maybe hear ocassional space bar-click sound maybe twice, but it's still pretty useable clip in my opinion, i recorded this just to test my new microphone, and because i couldn't sleep because of the loud birds singing, and in revenge i recorded that with my shiny new yinger bm800. You are free to use this soundclip for both commercial and non-commercial audio and video work. File format: 16 bit/44. 1khz mono. Wav-file.

Dark, cold, frightening ambience. I really created it out of nothing! no synthesizers/extra programs were used! only "audacity" to generate sounds and effects over it. Update (12th of december, 2020): it may be sounds like a subway too.

A french accordion sound. I was looking for an accordion sound to create a french or parisian atmosphere. Couldn't find one, so i created this, using the accordion voice on a yamaha keyboard. Loopable. Fairly generic melody. No attribution required. Enjoy!.
