We can consider this sound as constant or not constant because although a noise is heard all the time, there are moments when it becomes softer or even gets lost. Had to be triggered by someone trying to draw the curtain.

It is a sound that has some pauses that starts a little loud but decreases in volume. It has to be activated by rubbing the broom with a flat surface.
