I create my own original sound effects using audacity and my own equipment and ocassionally a garden gnome or two.

Used a mini mod filter and tuned it up slowly so you can cut out the wanted pitch, switch daw to 120bpm to cut it preciselyenjoy.

No credits needed! use it however you like!. I felt like sharing this snare drum sample i managed to create in about 20 minutes using a random drum sample, noise generators, and a little synthesizer with some heavy processing going on. It's very punchy and probably very usable, too.

This is a raw recording of a plastic shower curtain. The motions vary from grabbing to touching and, pulling. I recorded this with my smartphone as i needed to dub it into a film that i was designing. I manipulated part of the raw recording, and it sounds awesome in the mix. For those who like a vintage sound, this impulse response tries to be the most faithful in the type of spring reverb used in the 60s, on vocals, on guitars, and mainly as a mixing reverb as an alternative to plate reverb if do you want the sound of a garage rock or dub. Depending on the context, you can leave the reverb in mono which reinforces the vintage character.

I made changes in the impulse response of the fisher k-10, i used a demo of the fisher spacexpander on youtube that had a warmer sound, i did eq match using small sections of the video where the audio is dry or wet, i did this sin several times and the result was fantastically similar. Kick sound created in fl studio using a reggae kick sound played both dry and using a denise punisher free distortion vst and then layered with a pure click from fl studio. The oscillators are fed back into themselves and each other and 40 voices unison added to create a ubiquitous growl/yoy sound. I swear to god i did not put that in there it is a artifact from the effects. I created these perfect drum beat/loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, hydrogen, electric drums and audacity.

Td-3-tg recorded with zoom h-1. Td was performing slide through octaves with "slide" button pressed in program, and subsequent cs were played, in octave -1 and 0, and higher c in octave 0 and +1, back and forth. Program takes 7 16th notes and the space between notes takes 9 rests. Tempo of the td-3 was set to maximum and the volume control was set to high amount, to let zoom h-1 with rec level setting to 37, be driven up to -6db. Sound recorded in 96khz and 24bits. Trimmed and saved in flstudio edison, what made sound 32bit. No amplify, no normalisation. "tune" knob of td-3 was set to maximum as well as "cut off", "envelope" and "accent". "resonance" and "decay" was set to one o'clock. "waveform" swicth was set to square. No distortion. Zoom h-1 was plugged by a cable, td-3 output to line in. Cable was named vitalco - 1/8 inch trs to 1/4 ts, male to male, 3m.

This little distorted bass one-shot was made using a combination of sine-compression and filtering techniques in conjunction with reverse reverb/ bit-crushing. I also added a pitch fall near the end. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

Pajarito it's the name of the song. What you hear are jacanas, the small traditional guitars used by jarocho's musicians, and one requinto guitar (and some kids laughing). Playing jaranas: elías meléndez, who i personally dubbed as "the muddy waters of son jarocho" -he passed away on 2017-; arturo barradas, leader of soneros del tesechoacan, a famous jarocho music band, and his son, young elías barradas.
