Raw and dirty recording of my own footstep in the snow. Captured using a zoom h5 recorder and the included xy-capsule. No post-processing has been applied. Cut in ocenaudio. Enjoy. ;-).

This sound is completely analog. I recorded the sound of a person who was walking on the street. I chose to leave the noise of the street so that we understand that the person walks outside. I used the effect "amplification" to reduce the noise of the street and increase the sound of step. I made a fade in opening and closing, so that we have the impression that the steps are moving towards us then moves away. At the same time, i played with the pitch of the sound to accentuate this effect. I decided to upload all of my sound design stuff where i am working or have worked on. This is a series of hard sole footsteps on a stone tile floor i recorded for slicing it up to load it in a sampler. Recorded with a brauner phantom classic via an xlogic alpha vdh pre-amp from solid state logic.

It is a sound that has several alterations, so it is not constant, it is usually soft but sometimes it is heard a little louder. It is activated by the friction of the ground with the crocs as a person walks with the crocs on.
