I have no idea what this is, it just turned up on a recording. Still sounds like it would make a pretty nice critter effect for some monster.

Small plate being put into water and pulled back out again. Would work well for small objects coming out of a sink, pool, tub, or shower. Drip doesn't last very long- very subdued. Quiet.

In the south of france near "villeneuve les maguelones ". I walked thru wet land to record a group of flamingo. From 0 to 1"30 i walked. At 1"45 the flamingo began their discussion. Recorded with nagraivs and a pair of beyermc930 in ortf configuration.

Very atmospheric recording of rain and thunder. You can hear some birds and even church bells in the background and some human noises if you listen carefully.

A second attempt at recording the deep mud i keep finding myself walking through each morning on walthamstow marshes. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics (connected to a bent wire clothes hanger and positioned about 30cm above my feet). Processing: normalize -1. 0db, low cut filter 100hz, minor noise reduction to reduce background traffic/train noise. I do not require any credit or attribution. This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.

Really hard rain and hail--about the size of airsoft pellets/peas--with occasional rumbles of thunder. Then, at 1:48, there was a huge lightning strike nearby which produced a very loud burst of thunder. Captured from my front porch during a summer storm. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. Made some chicken alfredo and as i was slapping the noodles with the wooden spoon it sounded great! works for some gross effects or if someone gets slapped you can supplement your slapping noise with some moisture for some comedic value ;). I believe sound clips should be openly shared, but i am always interested in seeing how people use them ;).

Running water into a bathtub. The faucet is audibly turned on and off at the beginning and end. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 1 of 2. Originally recorded for a short film where one of the characters takes an off-screen bath. Recorded (if i remember correctly) with a sennheiser mkh-416 microphone into a sound devices 302 mixer.

Recording in woodbridge, va during a rainy day in may 2016. You hear rain gently falling, cars passing by in the rain and the distant rumbling of thunder.

The soft sound of rain hitting the roof of an rv i was in. I set up my zoom h4n recorder and tried to sit as still as possible. Sounds quite nice. Edited to remove some movement noise.

This is a stereo recording of two cats eating wet food and dry food from the same bowl. It was recorded with a pair of rode nt-5s.

A nice wet-themed ambiance of early spring in a small midwestern town in the us. The spring peepers dominate, always in the background. The american toads trill off and on (:38----1:04, 2:09-----2:31, 5:50----6:07, 6:25----6:40)there is also a distant dog bark, with echo at 3:31. Distant car horn at 3:57. Since this was recorded on a busy weeknight at 7pm, a lot of distant car doors and people picking up and dropping off kiddos for basketball practice, choir practice and other ancient extracurricular activities. There is a particularly good door open and slam and muted conversations at 6:43 to 6:56 and again at 7:17stereo recording made on thursday night march 29th, 2018 using a sound devices 702 and an audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone. The original was recorded at the very high sample rate of 196hz. Enjoy a town winding down and internalizing on a cold, drippy wet night in either very late winter, or very early spring.

Step into a puddle of mud.

A short loop of rain. The clip was recorded under a leaky, wooden deck so the loop isn't completely perfect, but it's close to seamless.

I recorded a friend of mine making various noises and then used this one for my alien 3d model i made. I used a yeti mic to record, and audacity to edit.
