This was a recording i made on a zoom h2 of a cat's purr, ran thru several filters until i had what i wanted, a repeating, ordered, police like siren underwater. Recorded at the highest wav settings on my h2, so it should be decent enough. (chirping sound heard on freesound disappears on full downloaded version. ).

Bubbling sounds on exhale and regulator hiss during inhale. There is briefly a whizz sound from a rigid inflatable boat propeller passing nearby. Recorded with a contour+2 camera.

This is an under water recording of some bubbles. I filled up a laundry bin with water, stuck a sennheisser md21 (dynamic omnimic) wrapped in a plastic bag in there (under the water level). I pumped bubbles from the bottom of the bin through a bicycle pump. Gear used: md21 -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. Completely unprocessed, 2:43 of 24 bit 44khz wave. Submission for the earthfirewindwater contest.

In my quest for that perfect sound that i'm looking for, i ended with something that doesn't quite fit the bill. Never the less, i think it has potential in the right hands. One thing i would like to point out is a single glitch at about 1. 907. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out. It may be a non-issue to someone that hasn't obsessed over it before, during, and after dinner. Use it and abuse it if it fits your needs.
