A small bit of scrap metal quickly sliding off a small tin roof and landing on some grass.

Various momevents with my hand using small rocks and dirt. Brushing, grabbing, and dropping. Recording in the city is hard but i found a small canyon made of rocks in a park which helped block out traffic noise. Equipment: rode ntg3, zoom h5, izoptope rx4. After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of the sliding door, i followed the top of the door (where there was the most interesting sound) the full length of the wardrobe as i opened/closed the door. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

Studio recordings of handling a small metal mechanical device for foley purposes. Originally used to foley handling sounds of a tattoo machine, but could also be used for guns, surgical instruments etc. Recorded with an at-4047/sv large-diaphragm condenser mic. In this clip, i am handling the device, producing diverse clinks and ratcheting sounds.

Heavy cinder block being dragged across asphalt a couple of times. I tried only sliding it over the ground when the bird was quiet, so you should be able to cut some sounds out and use. Otherwise i have single darker cinder block sounds in my profile.

A small, older elevator moves up 3 floors. Including the sound of the elevator door closing and opening. Recorded from the inside of the cabine. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Assorted ceramic bottles, jugs and bowls clanking against each other, sliding over a wooden surface, being touched or put down, scraping the ceramic bowl with a metal spoon and placing the bottle ready to pour into another ceramic glass.

Recorded while being at the kitchen and thinking: «gosh! all those lousy trays wasting their live with crockery, while they could be the super stars in some game».
