The spaceship portholes flashed of different coloured lights and let filter an increasing noise of tortured machines. Then it came a sudden explosion, so strong to lacerate the brain: an empty of white and yellow fire. Tones made with nch tone generator.

This is just a stretch of a small fire crackling. There are a few extraneous noises in there (some sniffling, distant car going by, light footsteps, keys, camera noises, and some birds), i just provided the full file so you could edit and use which portions work best for you.

Recording of a fireplace where some wood is burning, the wood is not much dry so the sound is crunchy. I recorded few takes and edit and mixed them to get the right sound. Recorded using a stereo pair (ab) connected to an apogee mini-me and a computer.

A recording of someone opening a door and forcefully closing it, either out of carelessness or anger. I have left a large amount of blank space in between the opening and closing of the door so that if you want to have it, it is there. But it can always be taken out.

This is a recording i ade of my drum kit back in 2014 after receiving a new snare drum. Note that the head that came on the snare has since been replaced, so a new recording may be in order at some point.

I couldn't find the right sound for my video so i decided to break out the frying pan to get the sound i wanted and decided to share! i used this to emulate the sound of someone hitting a chicken in a video game recording.

I was warming up the fireplace and the flame just really took off. It sounded really epic and sinister so i decided to record it. The menacing vibe was captured fairly well with the recording too i think.

Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/8th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

As i heared our doog eating the crunchy vegetables, i quick got my zoom h4n to record it. The maybe some noise of a fly or traffic in the background, but the internal mics were very close to the food-bowl. I had some issue when i came very close as the dog tried to eat as fast as possible, so i prefered to lay the recorder on the ground and kept away with my arm so the eating could be more relaxed. But the dog gobbled anyway in a fast way. Enjoy the soundscape. Maybe use it for asmr ;-).

Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. A heartbeat sound i made, complete with some gurgling, blood-rushing sounds. Just uploaded a version without the gurgling, in case you prefer the way that sounds. To make this, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a loop of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. After that, i eq'd out the more drum-like parts of each sample, added reverb to dull it, a chorus plugin and some compression to remove some of the drums' attack. . . Basically processed the hell out of them. To get the blood gurgling sound, i filled a water-bottle almost all the way full and turned it sideways, so i had a massive air-bubble floating around. I then tilted the bottle back and forth in front of my blue yeti usb condenser mic, so you could hear the air-bubble swishing. I had to be pretty gentle, because if you rock the horizontal bottle too much, the bubble moves too fast and makes a fake-sounding "gloomp. ". When i was happy with it, i mixed the heartbeat sound and the gurgling sounds so they'd work well together. Both the sounds were in mono, so i used a free plugin called wok ms-t on both of them to create a fake hard-panned stereo effect. I wanted it to sound like you'd been running, and were hearing the heartbeat in your ears. I think it turned out pretty cool. .

Warrior bass t. Wavfirst i was looking for a kodo drum sounds in freesound but i didn't found it. So i tried to make it myself by choosing a current beatbox sound that i pitched down + exciter +eq and add a large reverb in logic pro.

A sudden spring rain storm recorded indoor in a courtyard, so it contains some natural reverb. It also contains a heavy thunder in the middle. Please, excuse the quality, it was suddenly recorded with a mobile just when it happened.

About 20 people detach sheets of paper at the same time. The sheets are designed so that you can detach them easily from the books by making tiny holes in line. I asked them to do that just for fun. Korg mr-1 and bp4025.

This was recorded in a woodshop with a loud dust collector going on, so it's not the cleanest recording. But if you need a noisy, nasty sounding mechanical thing then this'll do it.

A mockingbird going through its repertoire on a slow downtown morning. The background hum is probably large air conditioning units or perhaps a generator in the distance at a construction site. A car passes midway through the recording, approaching from behind so the stereo effect is almost nonexistent.

My cat, misha, purrs for a while. Recorded with a zoom h5 right next to his nose hence the extreme stereo wideness. Apologies for the noises, sometimes it's just the recorder bouncing on the chair or me petting the cat so he keeps purring.

I've adopted a second large dog. He loves treats, and since he's a rail he gets lots of them. So big-dog walks up, just as i've turned on my recorder, and he sniffs the microphone. Perfect.

Ambient sounds of the subdued late night bingo at big top bingo in fargo, nd. I was not prepared with any official gear for this but i loved the soothing sounds of this bingo hall so i took this audio with the voice memo app on my iphone 6.
