Lighting a match and match burning. In the end of the recording burning sound sounds like a helicopter. Indoor recording. Recorded with zoom h2.

Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. Smashing a cantaloupe with a golf club- makes a sound similar to smacking a skull. Some slight splatter sounds in a few of the strikes.

Bowling: here we have the sounds of a bowling ball hitting the pins in a bowling alley. Not only do you hear the loud crash when contact is being made by the ball but you also hear the pins scatter. There are different variations of the ball hitting the pins to accommodate the user's preferences. They vary in tempo and amplitude. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. Great to add some fun to a soundscape.

Of course, i attended the guildford protest, participated and documented it here with some of its vocal chanting from a crowd of several hundred. With the aim of spreading news of this strike as much as possible, i am releasing this sound to the public domain. These strikes deserve to be heard. They need to be heard. .
