An ambisonic recording of the ambiance on the main walkway in tourist city of sopot in poland. (the bohaterów monte cassino street, also known as "monciak"). You can hear people passing by and talking (mostly polish language, but also some others), some footsteps on snow (the middle part was cleaned, but there was some snow on the sides), bicycles, and a wheeled trash bin used by garbage man. Recorded with zoom h3vr (ambisonics a-format).

The recorder (edirol r-09rh) was set in a very high building, therefore the sound consists mainly of ambient noise, eventually with subtle concrete sounds (birds, childs, dogs, sirens,. . . ). The audio is unfiltered, so it's dominated by low-frequency energy. Filter as you wish :). (the web preview seems to have some high frequency artifacts. This is a recording of scrap metal collection taken in pilton, edinburgh in august of 2022 at 4:40pm in the afternoon. The first thirty seconds are the sounds of scrap metal being loaded onto the truck (a trampoline if i remember correctly) and some talking. Then you hear the truck start up, and the message through the megaphone "any old scrap metal!" followed by a list of scrap metal items. At this point the truck is slowly driving away. This was recorded with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.
