This is an approximation of the modulated 440hz tone you hear when waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Made using the wasp synth in fl studio.

A tascam recorder recording itself with a telephone pickup coil. Idea from "handmade electronic music" by nicolas collins.

A drone patch on a doepfer system. The system gets gates and cv from a telephone pickup listening on the harddrive and fans on a macbook. I think everything passes through the a199 - spring reverb module aswell.

4x4 pole allpass allows to have a strident sound and retro ranger allows to have a rounded up and parasitic effect. Caracteristics of retro ranger : average stall = 2,5 ms and flange frequency = 1hz.
