It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. Enjoy my pain ;-).

I recorded this at late night in a rural german area at summer, approximately 150 - 200 meters away from the party (the party took place on a big and open field). The wind was blowing away from the people towards me, which is the reason, why you can hear the people well, even though there were trees between the people and the recording micorphone. Mabe you can hear a few cars very far in the distance along with the near taxis, picking the people up to take them home, too.

Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal done. Recorded some basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. Convolution reverb was added for a fairly realistic set-it-and-forget-it option. I've uploaded a dry version as well.

A recording i made in may of 2013 as i was trying to get a good recording of the wonderful wood thrush recorded. You can still faintly hear the wood thrush in the background, but the nice surprise on this recording is the very clear, bubbling, trilling call of a proud little chipping sparrow. This recording was carefully made using my homemade parabolic reflector microphone. (*using my trusty rode ntg-2), and going into my handy zoom h4n recorder. I wanted to get as accurate a recording as possible so i bumped up the bit rate to 96 kpbs. I know it makes for a larger file, but i think it is worth it.

A haunting melody i came up with to something called victors crypt. It's made in garageband and the melody is played on a bells-like sound with a lot of delay for a really spooky feel. I added some chords and dark noises in the background to make it even more creepy. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. Potable hoover (vacuum as known in the states) powered-on. Portable vacuum cleaner turned on. Short sample which can be looped. Two samples are included, the first is about 30cm away from the microphone and the second is a close-up to the microphone. I would advice using the end of the audio file to apply noise removal however have left this upload of the sound unedited so you can tweak this yourself to find what fits your project best. Noise removal may not be necessary at all depending on how you incorporate the sound. Also to be fair, how do you add noise removal to what is essentially glorified white noise?.

Okay, i actually did make a rather horrorific sound, despite my slight dislike for the horror genre. I know. I contradict myself. Anyhow, this is actually the sound of me going up an escalator while i was at a conference. I came home later and didn't know what to do with the sound, so, out of boredom, i made this. By the way, that weird shriek at 1'46" was actually a young child who was running around somewhere in the building. This sound could be used for *contradiction!!* an atmosphere for a horror game or something like that. But don't try to make me play it, because i won't! okay, well maybe. Mangled with ableton live.

A recording made in the shawnee national forest in illinois on the very first day of october, 2022. This recording was made at mid-afternoon and features the peaceful, pleasant wind through the deciduous trees. From time to time though, the soft call of a nuthatch or a chickadee reminds us there is still bird life in the early autumn woods. Birds getting ready, getting stocked up for the upcoming northern assaults of cold air this winter. Some crows really start to put on a show towards the end of this stereo recording. This is a mix of everything so far; not exactly, but whether there are lots of cartoon sounds on the internet, they kinda look old with the “flashy” quality. Here is a collage of cartoon sounds i mixed up. Some of these sounds are usually hannah barbera, but a few ones from digiffects, i guess. Imagine something like this you can hear in a children’s cartoon, like spongebob, fairly odd parents, etc. Idk lol. Enjoy!.

I deleted parts with handling noise and normalized the sound. For a quick drag and drop in a video editing project and such. It's not perfect and i may have missed some handling noise hence "rough cleanup". But it's a bit better :)if this will be background noise in a video/music, you'll probably lower the volume and the handling noise will become much less apparent. Made this recording to share with the community. Please feel free to use it however you wish. No credit needed. Recorded what i was hearing outside my bedroom window. It's a combination of various sounds for about 33 minutes. I did normalize the track a little bit and added a low shelving eq filter. If you want the raw audio file to do your own clean up. . . Message me. There are mic bumps and movements that you'll need to take out or edit out. I hope it's may be useful for your project. The rustling sound coming from palm trees can be used for other types of trees blowing in the wind.

Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/8th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

This is the sound of a spaceship's underbelly cargo hatch closing mid-flight after receiving a cargo transfer. The sequence begins with a warning alarm indicating the hatch closing, followed by the sound of the giant servos rotating the dual bay doors up and inward until the bay is sealed shut and locked. An all clear signal is given, reverberating into the dark, silent chamber. Made in logic pro, completely synthesized with es2 and mac's built in speech synthesis for vocal alarm. No unoriginal samples or sounds were used in the creation of this sound. Use freely as desired, but i would appreciate credit.

Minimalism-ism by Marco Kalnenek. Marco Kalnenek [*1969] is a musician from Heerlen, the Netherlands. Kalnenek started playing the piano at age 9. His first band Foolish Behaviour was formed around 1982, when he started jamming and recording tapes with assorted friends. Hundreds of hours of music and other noises were recorded in the 12 years that followed. A few cassettes and cd-r’s were privately released and various tracks turned up on compilations, most notably on Comfort Stand Recordings and blocSonic. In the meantime Kalnenek started his own label, WM Recordings, in 2004. After years of relative inactivity Marco Kalnenek’s first official EP “If Not For” finally appeared in May 2013.
