Various echoes and other sound qualities reflect where the shooter is compared to the sound recorder. I'm back with a sound inspired by my crippling planetside 2 addiction.

A mixture of heavy and light bursts of machine gun fire created through compiling, mixing and processing multiple audio files to create the desired result of rapid bursts. Mixdown is in stereo, making use of spatial panning and volume adjustments.

I tried to make a sort of explosion w/ my voice, and added a compressor, reverb, a little bit of distortion, quicker tempo, and i lastly slowed it down.

I used fl studio 11 to create this sound. By editing a washing machine's sound and adding drum samples i got this minigun sound.

An old project (2017, 4 years ago) i never uploaded anywhere before. I hope that others will take inspiration from this. A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. War sirens in athens, during military exercise "parmenion", at september 2021.

This is a background sound i've created designed to imitate the noise produced by a vast collection of typewriters being worked on in a large warehouse environment. All the noises within in have been taken from freesound. There are 8 different typewriters here. On some channels i stuck a lo pass and some big room reverb, and on others i added a little compression to bring them to the forefront. The whole had a hard limiter to -6 on the top.

This is a recording i made with my h4n while on exercise at meaford training centre, with an artillery unit. It features 5 mortars firing multiple rounds. In the back ground, you can hear fire orders being issued over the radio, as well as individual detachment commanders giving orders to their gunners.

The sound of thunder without any rain or wind. Sounds really far away. Could be used as war sounds far in the distance too. Recorded from a storm simulator with the rain and wind sounds turned off and thunder sounds set to highest amplitude.

Well, this was a happy accident. I was trying to record my neighborhood with birds, etc, but of course living in los angeles that was practically impossible, so instead i captured this great helicopter passing directly overhead. Recorded with: audio technica bp 4025, sound devices 702t.
