A 3-inch folding pocket-knife opening and closing. Recorded very close to the microphone. Makes a snick/click sound. The sharp blade folds into a steel housing so the sound is metal on metal. Recorded: august 2014, with android voice recorder (mono), inside/evening in very quiet room. Noise reduction with audacity.

I´ve recorded this sound produced by a large water wheel of 4 meters diameter, in the historical part of augsburg bavaria, part of town where early industry and work shops used water energy for different purposes. This water wheel does not drive any gear any more, it is just for to give an impression of that old water driven industry. The wheel is driven by one of many former industry channels, small rivers through that part of town.

The sound of a pocketwatch ticking as recorded from the back side. Exactly. 5 seconds long, should loop perfectly.

Recorded with an omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a clippy em172, and a zoom h-5. Denoised with audacity. Cut and normalized in ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-). You can also check out my pond5 profile. Perhaps you find something you like there. Http://www. Pond5. Ticking s/fx. Good for many clock or watch sounds. It is actually a taylor mechanical kitchen timer. It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. All the files in this pack can be seamlessly looped.
