Recorded in july 2022 at an s-bahn train platform in berlin - can't remember which train station or train line, sorry. Recorded with a zoom h2n in xy mode with a windshield. File has only been amplified due to low volume.

The recording was made by the tracks not not at the train station. I recorded this on a trail near the firth of forth. Waiting for the train :) i think i can hear the sound of the tracks and the passing train with interest. Enjoy.

Field recording of elevated subway train in queens. The n and w trains take a sharp turn here, causing the wheels to squeal. Recorded using tascam dr-1 on 24-bit uncompressed setting. Used roll-off at 40 hz to save my speakers. I used a windscreen to cut down on wind noise which can otherwise be a problem on this recorder.
