This is the sound of someone tapping a keyboard (dell) in the library of the upf campus of poblenou, barcelona. The sound is repetitive with low amplitude. It was recorded 14:00h. Recorded using zoom h4, normalized with audacity and adde fade-in and fade-out.

I made a script in python with three balls bouncing around at different speed. When the ball hits a wall a beep is played. The slowest bass plays a 110hz beep. The middle ball a 220hz beep and the fastest a 440hz beep. Python can’t play two beeps at a time…sort of random “music”… you control the rhythm with the ball speed.

Sounds a bit like a robot computing something (obviously a smaller, perhaps friendly or unaligned robot), or a computer, or a grocery store checkout. I originally got this sound from scraping a nail-belt along a plastic chair, and edited the clip in audacity. Enjoy!.

Apple imac is a silent computer. I don't hear almost any noise from it, but i tried giving a microphone-sweep over the screen, which surprised me. You can hear various kinds of noise in a close audition. A dynamic mic.

For fast firing lasers, honestly it's better to use nonquick versions of my laser beam sounds as the sound when quick is too abrupt.

A 7200 rpm western digital hard drive spins up, idles for about 15 seconds and shuts off. Nice motor noises along with the spin up. Recorded using a zoom h1n recorder very close to the hard drive. Noise reduction and cuts made using audacity.
