I saw someone in the comments section of another sound like this asking for a longer version, i hope this is long enough, it should be more than enough. If you're going to play this through speakers, a fair bit of warning, turn the speakers down first, it's extremely bass heavy!.

This sound has been created by modifying a voice record of about 3 minutes non-sense talk. Afterwards transformed and modified by many various effects in audacity. Sounds like an alien transmission or digital matrix, transformation kinda thingy. . Feel free to use as you like under public domain.

Ambient sound akin to the bridge of a starship. Muted background hum with an overtone of air conditioning ducts. Pseudo-random high pitched blips occupy the soundstage. Could be used as an ambient sound loop for hi-tech / science fiction interiors such as a laboratory, a control room, or the bridge of a spacecraft. Created with two instances of flstudio 3x osc. One kicking out a pair of sinewaves plus noise for the background susurus (hum) and ventilation sound. Second 3x osc is set to produce two interfereing square waves for the blips, squeaks and buzzes. The background was notch filtered and bandpassed to mellow out the humming sound and reduce hiss. The blips were processed with flstudio equo, stereo enhance, fruity delay2 and fl pan-o-matic vst. Each blip was pasted by hand in a seemingly random but not too unpleasant pattern.

Quiet talking in a room with 4 people. Size is about medium and no computers are actually running. (possible conversation between recorders). Stereorecorded with h4n.

Sound recorded from a tape for zx spectrum. Warning: very loud.

Designed with malstroem and basic 64. Malstroem. Graintable synthesis with "random" lfos and a freeware synth called basic 64, that is often used for the reproduction of c64 sounds. But here, the patch sounds like tools. It's a different synthesis, similar to the subtractive synthesis, but not as easy to handle as e. G. A minimoog synth or a prophet 5.

Recorded from line-in from a 13-year-old boombox tuned to the bottom of the am dial and moved around near the computer and printer. You can hear the base computer noise, then at 00:17 you start to hear the radio get closer to the printer which is off but plugged in.

I have been working on my twelve-tone program (in chuck). 1 - random 12 tones with random note-length for prime. 2 - then retorograde is played. 3 - after that prime and retrograde at the same time (3 times). Here the note-length is a average value.

Could be used as a space bar, or clicking a fairly strong button. Recorded by tapping a crown 30mm sdb-201 button once.

I recorded the fan on quite loud and i opened and closed the cd drive on my hp eletebook 8460p, different laptop models have a different frequency from the fan and different cd drives make a different sound when checking it. Recorded from the internal microphone.
