Mowing my lawn with my fiskars stay sharp push reel mower. No engine noise to worry about, just blades on the reel turning and cutting grass.

Grass cutting/trimming: city hall worker cutting grass with a noisy grass cutter/trimmer on a sunny day in a house zone, with a dog barking and birds chirping in the background. Recorded with a takstar sgc-598 microphone(10+ db, low-cut), into a zoom h1n(limiter on, full quality, gain ~8). The sound was not post-processed.

This was just a quick recordingof a lawn mower racing. I liked the buzzing sound and caughtit withsoundman okmii -> sony mz-rh1 -> atrac3plus (hi-md) -> sonicstage -> wav (44. 1khz).

My neighbor mows a cul-de-sac with a riding lawn mower for about 2 minutes and drives away. As the mower drives away a car honks and some distant shouting can be heard. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro placed on the windowsill facing the cul-de-sac.
