Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. Recorded at 24bit 96khz, down converted to 16 bit wav. Feel free to use this for what ever you need it. Wouldn't mind some credit, thank you. :) stay tuned for more audio effects. This sound was made by popping a cellophane bag and recorded using an m-audio microtrack ii. This sounds really good as a firework or an explosion sound, especially with reverb.

A semi-automatic rifle, pitched down 3 semi-tones. Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end. The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound".

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Made in ableton live. Layered together out of various explosions sounds and a kick drum. One sound layer ran through a guitar amp for distortion. Low-fi-ish.

A compound of other sounds crated for my sci fi sitcom, this was supposed to be the sound of a landing dropship's bay doors opening to let out some over enthusiastic marines. I reckon it could work for a variety of industrial type noises.

A retro "fire the projectile" sound in an old-school 8-bit video game. Sounds like it should be on an enemy instead of the main player since it's quite dark and hollow. Generated with a periodic 1-bit noise pattern.

As with my other sounds, i prefer quality over quantity. Here is another sound file that i developed over a couple of days. Similar to ss's pulse cannons, this one features a military battle featuring tanks, helicopters, jets, and strafing runs using high caliber chainguns. A lot of explosions and rocket fire is heard as well, and the audio is a bit loud. Sounds edited in audacity, some sounds recorded irl using my dslr camera system, the mixing was done using filmora9. The freesound files used is listed in the sound sources, rest is what i used online and irl. I did this out of boredom while playing shooter games, since i'm working with 3d modeling i'm getting back into making my own sounds for my games. This one is free to use with credit, and with the right editing software you can change the volume if needed.
